Telecom giant Dhiraagu has signed on as Development Partner with Skate Maldives for 2023-2024.

Dhiraagu said the company will assist Skate Maldives to hold local and international level skating competitions in the Maldives. Skate Maldives is a registered organisation dedicated to skating.

Skate Maldives is currently holding the second international rollerskating championship. The competition commenced on Thursday and will end this Saturday. Local and foreign skaters are competing in this competition being held at Usfasgandu and Hulhumale' competition area.

"We are delighted to be the Development Partner Skate Maldives and support the promotion and development of roller skating as a competitive sport in the Maldives. We look forward to working with the association to elevate the sport and introduce a new generation of athletes to the country," Naya Shareef, Assistant Manager, Brand, at Dhiraagu said.

President of Skate Maldives Mohamed Hanim said that through this agreement, Skate Maldives can develop skaters at a local and international level.
