Youth injured in road accident at Hulhumale' Phase II has passed away.

The accident occurred on 2nd May when a motorbike and pick-up collided. Ahmed Zain, 20, who suffered serious injuries was transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for further treatment after initial medical attention at Hulhumale' Hospital.

'One' has come to know that he passed away while receiving medical treatment on ventilator sometime on Friday night. IGMH and the family confirmed Zain's passing to 'One'.

IGMH did not specify the extent of Zain's injuries.
