Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is making final preparations to commence 'Raajje Transport Link' (RTL) services in Huvadhoo Atoll.

MTCC said the company is working towards commencing the services by July this year. MTCC added that six ferries will be required for the services, of which some have already been transported to Huvadhoo Atoll.

MTCC Tweeted on Thursday that a team has departed to Huvadhoo Atoll to check on the preparations for RTL ferry services in GDh. Faresmaathodaa and GDh. Fiyoari.

MTCC added that discussions have been held with GDh. Thinadhoo police station regarding safety measures for the service.

Following the service in Huvadhoo, RTL services will also commence in Fuvahmulah City and Addu City.

RTL ferry service is currently available in HA. HDh. and Sh. Atoll.
