Urbanco has suspended a staff in relation to the ongoing K-Park condominium case.

In a statement released on Thursday, Urbanco said that Abdul Naif has been suspended for 14 days under the coporation's progressive disciplinary action policy while investigation continues into the sale of apartments using forged documents.

Naif is the General Manager at the Real Estate Management and Property Management department.

Urbanco added that further action will be taken against Naif if required once the investigation by police and Urbanco is complete.

The case was filed by Hanbo company's main shareholder Shi Jin Hu who said that the minority shareholder Hassan Mamdhooh (Manday) had sold apartments deceitfully.

Manday and Jaishan Saeed, who is believed to be his partner in the fraud, has had their passport's seized along with a Korean national.

Manday has denied the allegations against him and investigation continues into the case.
