Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that they have commenced physical works of Shaviyani Atoll Narudhoo Harbor Development Project on 4th May 2023.

They highlighted that the new harbor basin dredging operations are currently ongoing.

According to the company, the scope of works include, 51,212cbm of harbor dredging operations, 4,120cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of 371m breakwater; a 205m revetment; a 210m quay wall; installation of 955sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp and installation of harbor lights.
