Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the Meemu Atoll Muli Harbor Development Project is well underway, with existing harbor basin dredging operations and installation of concrete blocks required for quay wall construction ongoing, with 70% and 55% completion respectively.

According to MTCC, the scope of the project includes, harbor basin dredging operations of 33,888cbm, channel dredging operations of 6,254cbm, construction of a 465m breakwater, 89m revetment, 479m quay wall, 3m wide bridge, and installation of 2,730sqm harbor pavement, navigational and harbor lights.

The value of the project is MVR 61.8 million.
