Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital (ASMH) in GDh. Thinadhoo has geared up to provide laparoscopic surgery.

ASMH said laparoscopic surgery and advanced wound care services will official commence on Wednesday. The hospital has established a special clinic to offer advanced wound care services.

ASMH said the hospital has been preparing to introduce laparoscopic surgery since December 2022 and that all the necessary equipment have now been procured.

A surgical team from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) will be visiting and working together with ASMH until Friday. The visiting team includes general surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and operating room nurses.
