Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) said the second shipment of rock boulders for Gdh. Gahdhoo Harbor Development Project has been delivered to the project site.

MTCC added that the quay wall block installation is currently ongoing at the site with 43% completion.

Scope of work for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 23,017cbm, construction of a 232m breakwater, a 35m revetment, a 320m quay wall, construction of a 320m Scouring Apron, a bridge, installation of 1600sqm harbor pavement and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 40.2 million.
