MMWM distributed over 13,000 Iftar meal packs to expat workers

Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) distributed over 13,000 Iftar meal packs to expatriate workers during Ramadan.

The meal packs were distributed to expat workers in Male' City and Hulhumale'. MMWM has been running the programme for four years.

MMWM said that private businesses and the public donated over MVR 424,000 for the initiative this year.

"We could not have achieved this without the donations from the public, Dhiraagu, and our partners like The Space as well as the volunteers who distributed the meal packs," MMWM said.

MMWM said they are hopeful to extending the programme further in the coming years.
