A foreign waiter has been stabbed in the neck during an altercation over food in AA. Thoddoo.

Thoddoo Council Member Ali Adam told 'One' on Thursday night that the incident took place in a restaurant after an Indian national stabbed a waiter after being informed the restaurant was out of flat bread.

"The Indian man wanted flat bread but was told there was none and was offered other options. This angered him and he attacked the man with a knife that was nearby," Ali Adam said.

The head of Thoddoo Health Centre Ali Shifaz told 'One' on Thursday night that the man did not suffer serious injuries and has been discharged after treatment.
