Employment Tribunal has revised their policy to allow all female staff six months maternity leave.
The policy revision was followed by the issue being highlighted by Tribunal member Mariyam Sham'aa Ibrahim, who criticised the policy for disallowing six-months maternity leave for female staff.
Prior to the policy change, Tribunal staff received a two-month maternity leave.
The revised policy was publicised on Wednesday, including maternity leave. Five out of the seven members in the Employment Tribunal are women.
