Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) said the first shipment of rock boulders required for Gdh. Rathafandhoo Shore Protection Project has been delivered to the site.

MTCC said that beach filling operations are ongoing with 87% completion.

Scope of work for the project include construction of a 461m revetment, a 240m breakwater, and beach filling operations of 6600cbm.

The project is valued at MVR 26.27 million.
