Coconuts and watermelon gifted to Male' residents by renowned businessman Mohamed Moosa (Uhchu) will be distributed on Thursday, Male' City Council has said.

Uhchu gifted 15,000 coconuts and 15 tonnes of watermelon to the residents of Male' City.

In an announcement made on Wednesday, City Council said residents can present their National ID cards to the general services department to collect the coconuts and watermelon.

The distribution will take place between 0930-1500hrs and 2130-0000hrs on Thursday and between 0830-1200hrs and 1300-1700hrs starting Saturday.

Champa Brothers had previously gifted 35,000 coconuts to the residents of Male' City.
