A stepfather has been arrested for sexually abusing a minor.

Police said on Monday that a sexual abuse on a 13-year-old had been reported to Southern Police Division on 12 April.

Police added that a 33-year-old was arrested under a court order and remanded for 30 days.

'One' has come to know that the man arrested is the girl's stepfather.

In a separate sexual abuse case, two arrests were made on Saturday night following the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old.
