A motorbike and car crash in Hulhumale' has left a youth in serious condition.

Police said on Thursday that the accident occurred in Hulhumale' Phase II, Nirolhu Magu around 1145hrs when a car and motorbike collided.

An 18-year-old suffered extensive injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Hulhumale' Hospital.

Police said efforts are underway to transfer the youth to ADK for further treatment.
