Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to implement R. Kinolhas Shore Protection Project.

The agreement was signed on behalf of MTCC by CEO Adam Azim and Fathimath Shaana Farooq, DG, signed on behalf of Ministry at a ceremony held at Housing Ministry on Tuesday.

Scope of work for the project include dredging and excavation of a 19,780cmb area and geobag revetment of 650m.

The project is valued at MVR 11.45 million to be completed within 180 days.

Field work will commence once the EIA is complete, MTCC said.
