Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) has opened opportunities for guesthouses to operate nearby Faresmaathodaa Airport.

RACL noted that interested parties should mail to [email protected] before April 29th. They further highlighted that the opportunity is for Maldivians only.

The company is set to release 18 plots of land amounting up to 18,000 sqft for the operation of these guesthouses.

Faresmaathodaa Airport was inaugurated by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on March 15th.

Faresmaathodaa Airport was contracted to MTCC and has a 1,200m runway, taxiway, and apron, a fire pad and fire road as well as a fire station. The project is valued at MVR 144.8 million.

The airport is operated by Regional Airports Company Ltd and has 2 scheduled Maldivian flights per week.
