Ministry of Islamic Affairs has contracted Elite International Pvt Ltd to build a mosque in AA. Himandhoo.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali and Elite International's Director, Aaiz Rasheed, at a ceremony held at the Ministry on Thursday.

Islamic Ministry said the project is valued at MVR 10.3 million, to be completed within 365 days.

The mosque can house up to 300 people at prayer times once completed.
