The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has signed with the government to move forward with constructing the Fuvahmulah ring road.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure, Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed signed on behalf of the government today and the CEO of MTCC Hassan Shah, signed on behalf of the company.
While the project is estimated to cost MVR 32,042,893,70, the agreement states that the construction has to be completed within 40 days.
This construction of the 2.7 kilometer Fuvahmulah Ring Road is said to consist of the installation of lamp posts as well as a sidewalk.
