President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's advisor, Mohamed Shihab, has met with Jumhooree PArty (JP) as part of Nasheed's faction.

'One' has come to know that Shihab met JP representatives at Sun Island Resort on Thursday. The meeting was attended by STO's former managing director Hussain Amr, and former minister at President's Office, Mohamed Shifaz as part of Nasheed's faction. Both Amr and Shifaz were recently removed from their posts by President Solih.

Nasheed's faction has announced support for JP for the upcoming presidential elections this year.

Speaking to press on Wednesday night, JP's deputy leader Ameen Ibrahim stated that JP has worked with MDP before and that both parties have done multiple work together.
