Agro National Corporation (AgroNAT) Managing Director, Haroon Rasheed has been dismissed from his position.

Haroon revealed to One Online that he was dismissed today, adding that the reason behind his dismissal remains unclear as of now.

AgroNAT was founded as a State-Owned Enterprise with the overall mandate to assist in developing the agricultural sector. Haroon was appointed to the position in 2020.

Haroon's dismissal comes during a time when those who are working against President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih are being dismissed from their positions within the government.

STO MD Hussain Amr and Minister at the President's Office, Mohamed Shifaz were also recently dismissed from their positions. All three of them support former President, Mohamed Nasheed.
