Mohamed Shifaz (Shippe) has been dismissed as the Minister at President's Office today.

The spokesperson at President's Office, Miuvan Mohamed confirmed to One Online that Shifaz had been dismissed today.

Miuvan noted that Shifaz, who is also the Vice President of ruling MDP was removed from the position under the powers granted to the President by the constitution.

Shifaz was appointed to the position in November 2018.
