Islamic Centre to be built in Addu City

Islamic Ministry has contracted Fedo Pvt Ltd to build an Islamic Centre in Addu City.

The agreement was signed by Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir and Fedo Pvt Ltd's Managing Director Ahmed Fayaz, at a ceremony held in Addu City on Friday.

Islamic Ministry said the Centre will include a prayer room that will accommodate 1,500 people and a multipurpose hall that can accommodate 450 pax. In addition, the Centre will include 4 classrooms, 2 seminar rooms, an administrative office, an Islamic library and a pantry.

The project is to be completed within 540 days.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ministry Dr. Zahir stated that the administration is making various efforts towards development in the country.

This is the first project signed by Islamic Ministry outside Male' City.
