MACL to give MVR 2,000 to all employees on top of Ramadan Allowance

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has decided to give each employee a special allowance of MVR 2,000, on top of their Ramadan Allowance.

A circular sent to all MACL employees on Sunday noted that the company appreciates the hard work of their employees, and to value their tireless contributions the company will be giving each and every employee a special allowance of MVR 2,000 on top of their annual Ramadan Allowance.

Maldivian law dictates that MVR 3,000 should be given to all Muslim employees who work during the month of Ramadan.

MACL noted that the MVR 3,000 of the Ramadan Allowance and the special allowance of MVR 2,000 will be deposited together.
