Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said B. Kamadhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway, with overall 52% project progress.

Second shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site, MTCC said.

Scope of works the project include 30,933cbm of dredging operations, 5,085cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of a 181m breakwater; a 656m revetment; a 392m quay wall, installation of 1,670 sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp, and installation of navigational lights and harbor lights.

The project is valued at MVR 48.63 million.
