President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have visited the Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin 2023 at Messe Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday.

During the visit, the First Couple toured the Maldives’ stand at the fair which featured unique qualities of Maldivian hospitality and the variety of services and experiences it offers.

MMPRC presented President Solih with a miniature model of the stand during his visit. This year marks the first time in three years that Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is physically attending the fair, and the first time after winning the title of "World’s Leading Destination" at the World Travel Awards for three consecutive years.

ITB Berlin is a B2B platform for tourism industry partners and businesses. The Maldives is attending the fair this year with 233 representatives from 91 companies, accompanied by officials of the Ministry of Tourism and MMPRC.
