The reconstructed parts of Ameenee Magu have been reopened for the public.
MTCC has completed asphalt laying works for the project for the first three segments. These segments are from the Eastern end to STELCO office.
Road Development Corporation (RDC) which is heading the project noted that even though parts of the road are now open, Moomina Higun has been closed for finishing work and the stormwater system works.
Road markings have now been completed in the areas as well.
The Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure contracted the work to RDC on June 3rd. The project was supposed to be finished within 210 days, valued at MVR 84 million.
