Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs has met with his Indian counterpart, the External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Shahid revealed via Twitter that they "reflected on the Maldives-India Friendship and discussed further advancing our collaboration in areas of mutual interest".

The Minister also applauded India’s inclusive approach to G20 Presidency.

Shahid had traveled to India on an official visit on March 1st, where he took part in the 8th Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi. Minister Shahid joined the Panel Discussion themed “Heart of the Matter: LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) for our Common Future”.
