President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived at Thaa Atoll Hirilandhoo on an official visit on Thursday.
Local residents of the island had given a very warm welcome to the President as he arrived in the morning. President Solih will attend the ceremony to commemorate 71 years of Hirilandhoo School.
In addition to this, he will also attend the opening of FENAKA Office in the island as well as open the newly built volleyball court.
The island with an estimated population of about 1,200 people is home to a number of youth in the carpentry and fisheries industry.
The last time President Solih visited the island was during the month of November in 2021.
