A man has been arrested for using counterfeit TT copies to import goods.

Police said on Tuesday that a man has been arrested for fraudulently importing and selling goods from various foreign companies using counterfeit TT copies.

The man arrested in this case is a 37-year-old Maldivian whose premises have since been searched by Police.

Police said the case is being investigated by the Economic Crime Department.
