Maldives and Singapore have held discussions on developing human resources, rehabilitation as well as the field of medicine and higher education.
The discussions were held during a courtesy call between Vice President Faisal Naseem and Non-resident Ambassador of Singapore to Maldives, Chua Thian Poh.
The meeting took place at the President’s Office this morning. Talks were held on various broad points of interest between the two countries.
VP Faisal Naseem welcomed the Singaporean Ambassador to frequently visit Maldives and highlighted on the close ties between both nations.
Ambassador Chua Thian Poh expressed that he would very much like to work closely with the Maldivian government and added that he hopes that the strength between two nations will be strengthened.
