People's Majilis has observed a moment of silence for Late MP Ibrahim Riza, who filled the Guraidhoo constituency seat.

Commencing the Majilis meeting on Monday, Speaker Mohamed Nasheed said Riza had completed three terms in the Majilis as an MP and contributed greatly to the parliament's works.

A book of condolences has been set for Late MP Riza and will be open to the MP's and the public for a three-day period, Speaker Nasheed noted.
