Maldives Police Service (MPS) has revealed that they have arrested one person in connection to the stabbing of a youth inside a shop in Male' City last Friday.

The 30-year-old man was stabbed while inside a cosmetic shop in Maafannu Muranga Magu, near BG Garage. One Online has learned that two men in helmets had attacked the young man, He had sustained major injuries after being stabbed at numerous points of the body, including his back and hips.

Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed revealed that one arrest has been made in the case, and that the arrested man is one of the two who had stabbed the young man.

IGMH Media previously revealed to One Online that the man is being treated in the ventilator, however, they did not reveal any details of the injuries.
