The Ministry of Education has revealed that the 2023 Academic New Year will begin on August 6th.

The academic calendar which was released by the Ministry shows that while the academic new year beings on the 6th, teachers are expected to report on the 1st of August.

Classes for Grade 11 students will begin on 3rd September, while the first term will end on December 21st. The second term will commence on 8th of January, 2024.

June 14, 2024 will mark the end of the second term and commencement of the annual holidays.
