Police have said the missing man from AA. Mathiveri is yet to be found.

Hassan Ali (Hassanfulhube), 73, Rihiveli/Mathiveri went missing on 1st February.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Police stated that all the police departments across the nation have been notified regarding Hassanfulhube. Police added that Mathiveri island has been searched thoroughly, including guest houses, cafe's and restaurants as well as the shore.

"Our divers have covered the lagoon area. We have also checked the islands Hassanfulhube frequents," Police said.

Police further added that they have viewed 157 hours of CCTV footage, according to which Hassanfulhube was last seen on 31 January around 930hrs exiting a shop.

Police have taken statements from 29 people so far regarding Hassanfulhube and are sharing updates with the family accordingly.
