Police have stated that they have reviewed over 150hrs of CCTV footage from Male' and Velana International Airport (VIA) in search for Mohamed Air, 31, who has been missing since 4 February.

Asir was reported as missing to Police around 1630hrs on 5 February 2023.

In a statement released on Thursday, Police noted that all the police stations and intelligence units across the nation has been informed about Asir.

Police said that Asir was seen getting into a white cab around 1920hrs on February 4th, and getting off at VIA terminal. Since then, he has not been seen. Asir has not boarded any flights either, Police said.

Police further stated that they have checked guesthouses and hotels in Male' City, Vilimale' and Maafushi to check if Asir had checked-in anywhere, and efforts are being made to check if he is in any island across the nation.

The public has been urged to call Police hotline 3322111 if anyone has information on Asir's whereabouts.
