Maldives Broadcasting Commission (BroadCom) office has closed due to a rodent issue in the office building, G. Billoorijehige.

BroadCom stated on Thursday that the office has been closed for a week awaiting pest control to handle the rodent issue in the building.

BroadCom's president Mariyam Waheeda stated that the building also has leakage and electric issues as well. She added that BroadCom has been facing a rodent issue for the past 3 years.

"We have had a number of meetings in the past to solve this issue," Mariyam Waheeda stated.
