The Ministry of National Planning has revealed that they will contract the works of asphalt laying on Boduthakurufaanu Magu next month.

Asphalt laying and road development of Boduthakurufaanu Magu from Hulhumale' Ferry Terminal to the Harbor Food Court was carried out by former President Abdulla Yameen.

State Minister Akram Kamaluddin revealed to One Online today that they have planned and finalized to lay asphalt and develop the remaining area of the road. He further stated that the Ministry will be contracting the project on a Design and Build basis next month.

He further added that even though the project is being contracted, it will likely begin after Ramadan.

The government is also working with Road Development Corporation (RDC) to develop Ameenee Magu.
