The balcony of a home in Male' City collapsed on Sunday night, injuring one man during the incident.

One Online can confirm that the balcony of M. Noobahaaruge had collapsed.

Maldives Police Service revealed that they had received reports of a man falling off while the balcony collapsed at 11:29 PM last night. Police further added that the balcony is believed to have collapsed after a thief who had robbed the house had jumped onto the balcony.

The thief is currently being treated at IGMH for injuries sustained during the fall. Police is further investigating the case.
