Maldivian man who has been missing since February 4th was last seen at Velana International Airport (VIA), Police have stated.

Mohamed Asir Ismail, 31, Gaskara/S.Maradhoo Feydhoo, was reported missing on 4th February, police had stated on 7th February. Asir, who lives in Male', was last seen on February 4th around 1930hrs, wearing a blue jeans and black shirt, his family had said.

In a message to the media, Police on Saturday stated that Asur had not yet been found. CCTV footage from around Male' and VIA has been reviewed in the efforts to find Asir, Police said.

"CCTV footage shows him getting into a white cab near Hulhumale' ferry terminal in Male' around 1920hrs on 4th February. Asir is seen exiting the cab and entering VIA terminal," Police said.

Police further said that the investigation has revealed Asir did not board any flight at VIA. The authorities are continuing their efforts to locate Asir. As such, Police have urged the public to contact them at 3322111 or 9631696 if they have any information regarding him.
