The First Lady Fazna Ahmed has participated in the activities of Thajuddin School’s 30 year anniversary event - “Thaaj Anniversary” this morning.

In addition to a run, the school had held a special ceremony this morning as part of the celebrations.

Several staff and alumni of the school, which includes the first lady, were in attendance at the celebrations today. The Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali was also in attendance.

While the “Thaaj Run” began at the Social Center, the ceremony, commemorating “Thaaj Anniversary” was held at Henveiru Stadium. Commemorative plaques were presented by First Lady Fazna to staff that provide their services to the school for 20 to 25 years.

The First Lady also inaugurated Thaajuddeen School’s Anniversary magazine at the ceremony. The celebrations also saw trivia games regarding the school on the occasion if its 30th anniversary.
