Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has introduced a mobile application for Kudagiri, the picnic island developed for residents in Male’ area,

The app available on both Android and iOS devices is also called 'Kudagiri'.

HDC revealed that the app was introduced as part of their efforts to provide services with ease as they gear up to open the picnic island. Bookings can also be made via the app, and notifications can be turned on for the latest news and updates.

Kudagiri is set to open on February 11th, and is only a 15-minute speedboat ride away from capital Male' City.

Those who wish to go to the island will be able to purchase tickets from Male' and Hulhumale', and will take about 30 minutes by dhoani. HDC is set to operate ferries to the island daily, with 6:30am, 6:50am and 7:10am being departure timings from the city and 5:20pm, 5:40pm and 6:00pm being departure times from the island.
