President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the non-resident Ambassador of Poland, Adam Burakowski have held discussions on strengthening the existing bilateral ties between Maldives and Poland.

The discussion was held at President's Office on Tuesday when Ambassador Burakowski paid his farewell call on President Solih.

During the meeting, President Solih and Ambassador Burakowski discussed ways to enhance cooperation in tourism, trade, civil aviation, human resource development, and climate change.

Ambassador Burakowksi expressed confidence in further strengthening Maldives-Poland relationship.

President Solih commended the Ambassador's dedication to further enhancing the bilateral ties between the two nations, and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Maldives and Poland established diplomatic relations on October 1, 1984.
