MDP Primary: Nasheed and Ibu casts their vote

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Former President Mohamed Nasheed have both cast their vote at the ongoing MDP Presidential Primary 2023.

While polling centers opened at 9:00am today, President Solih cast his vote at the Hinnavaru Ballot Box which has been placed at Iskandar School. Nasheed voted at the North Galholhu Ballot Box in Jamaluddin School.

Speaking to the press after casting his vote, President Solih reiterated that he is confident he will win with a landslide victory. He further added that voter fraud will not be something that happens in MDP elections.

Nasheed did not meet the press after casting his vote.
