A journalist of One Online at the polling center with ballot boxes for Addu City has revealed that voting is yet to begin for the boxes.

He noted that the reason behind the delay was due to the combination of different constituencies.

Addu City Hulhudhoo, Feydhoo, North Hithadhoo, South Hithadhoo, Central Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Feydhoo and Meedhoo constituency ballot boxes are placed at Iskandhar School. Of these, the Maradhoo and Meedhoo boxes have been combined, wich was met with heavy criticism.

Representatives of the candidates have called to split these two constituencies separately.

According to the information disclosed by the party, 87 ballot boxes would be placed in Male' CIty while 192 ballot boxes would be placed in the Atolls.

Ballot boxes in Male' City would be placed at Ameeniyya School, MNU, CHSE, Iskandhar School, Maafannu School, Izzudin School, Thaajuddin School, Hiriya School, Muhiyiddin School, and Rehendhi School.

MDP noted that there are 57,000 eligible voters for the primary. They added that the primary voting would begin from 9:00am onwards till 5:00pm.
