Four individuals have been injured in a road accident in Fuvahmulah City.
A source from Fuvahmulah City told 'One' that the accident occurred around 2225hrs on Thursday night when a car tried to overtake a motorbike at a high speed.
The source said that both vehicles suffered damages in the accident.
"There were two women on the motorbike, the one in the back suffered a broken leg, and split head among other injuries. The woman driving the bike also sustained various injuries as did the passenger in the back seat of the car," the source revealed.
A video of the accident is circulating on social media.
