'Beeveema' receives strong support with sold out opening

Dark Rain Entertainment (DRE) has revealed that their latest movie 'Beeveema' has been receiving strong support with a sold-out opening.

Beeveema marks the first movie to be released theatrically in the Maldives since the 2020 lockdown. Olympus Cinema is also being re-opened after being closed for an extended duration, during which the place was also heavily renovated.

The cinema will reopen on February 4th, tickets for which went on sale on January 21st.

Mohamed Ali (Moger) who is producing the movie revealed to One Online yesterday that the tickets for the opening show has been fully sold-out now, adding that most of the other showings are almost full now.

While tickets are being sold at Olympus from 10:00am to 10:00pm, tickets for the opening show are priced at MVR 150, while all subsequent shows are for MVR 100.

The movie stars prominent stars such as Mariyam Ashfa, Ismail Rashed, Aminath Rashfa and marks the debut of Adam Zidan into the industry.

The movie will premier on February 6th.
