Maldives Meteorology (MET) has revealed that the current rainy weather is expected to last till Thursday.
MET highlighted that the current rains are being caused due to the wind patterns towards the Maldives right now.
An official of MET revealed that rains have been continuing at various regions of the country since yesterday. hey further added that while the country will experience scattered rains throughout today, seas are not expected to be rough.
The official also noted that Fuvahmulah recorded the highest rainfall within the last 24 hours, with a total of 102 millimeters of rain recorded till last night.
They also added that while there are no active alerts to any region as of now, the rains will continue over the next two days.
