The government has opened for public viewing of housing units being developed under their 'Gedhoruveriya' program.

The government is developing 4,000 housing units in Hulhumale' Phase II under the project, along with India's JMC and NBCC. Each company was awarded 2,000 units.

Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation had previously stated that works on 13 towers will be complete by August, by which time people would be able to move in. These include 1.624 units.

The corporation revealed to the media on Sunday that the units in Tower 12 will be open for public viewings starting today. As such, viewing timings will be from 2:00pm till 4:00pm today and from 2:00pm till 6:00pm starting tomorrow.

The project will have towers with 18 floors and 17 floors with a total of 1,200 2-Bedroom Units and 2,800 3-Bedroom Units. The 2-bedroom units are 650sqft while the 3-bedroom units are 900sqft.
