Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has caught a six-foot-long crocodile near Haa Alif Atoll Hoarafushi.

MNDF noted that the crocodile was spotted between two islands on the same lagoon as Hoarafushi.

They added that the First Squadron of their Northern Area Coast Guard had caught the crocodile after receiving the report. However, no further details regarding the case were provided.

While a crocodile has been spotted in Haa Alif, a crocodile was also spotted and caught in Kaafu Atoll earlier this month.
